In the second day, my intuition once again supported invisible knowing. I seemed to have a brilliant knack of listening and dedicating my life to perpetuating family fulfilling destiny. Even Mo'i has commented on the esoteric nature of my motivations.
Mo'i understood why. Watching a child returning home, and the passionate truth of being recognized, is a strong healing. I guessed the Hawai'ian family would recognize the child of the ancestors I saw when I looked at Leilani. The essence of Leilani's hula touched hearts with the deepest reverance for the tradition and history from which it sprang. This unleased a love force immeasurable.
All Kahuna... no, everyone gathered in the circle... cried. By means of unselfish sharing, a woman coming of age, became a conduit for humanity's transition. All the people gathered and the spirits of Hawai'i were happy. Every person was giddy and smiling, and they're turn at the hula produced hearty belly laughs.
Something more was coming, everything was in such perfection, everyone primed and ready. Aunty Pahia and Ilyana stood. After a moment, Mo'i came to a decision. Leilani was verbally recognized as Kahuna by Aunty Pahia and Ilyana broke into chant. Tanya and Patrice had to hold Leilani up.
Aunty Pahia wasn't quite done as we broke for lunch and she dashed off to be "Elder first," a common practice for both our lineages. The Elders and children are always taken care of first, a sign of respect and honor. She pulled me aside and asked for time on … Easter moring… to complete the Blessing Intiation, the first of many to come. It would be a surprise. We would do it first thing. The fact that this rite of passage was happening on what I had heard called "resurrection Sunday" growing up, flashed bright light in my recognition mind. The bridging proces, fulfilling the prophecy that we would bring children home, revealed confirming path more with each journey. We mature in our purpose.
It was difficult to contain myself the rest of the afternoon. Leanala came to channel Pele. The first part of the channel I missed because my attention had been diverted by Mo'i to Aunty Pahia.
She was searching the inbetween space for something. I could see it, and set to hold space. Mo'i motioned for me to take Aunty Pahia the buffalo horn that rested i8n my medicine basket. I did what I was told and Aunty actually reached for the horn… with her eyes still closed... as I began to gently lay it in her lap.
When the opportunity came a little while later, she told me it had helped her a lot in her clarity. What she had asked for had plainly been seen. Mo'i stood behind Pahia and picked up a rainbow ribbon of energy, and then approached Leanala, smiling and beaming with love.
"Kamaka," she began firmly from where she stood, "the buffalo is synonymous with Pahia. After the traditional arrowhead gift, you will have Kalei'iliahi and Kamakawiwoole gift her the horn. This is the vision we showed you." She stayed with Aunty Pahia the rest of the day.
I honored this generous giveaway rite. Well, it looked like there might be two initiations in the morning. I started listening to Leanala's instructions on how to make mana dolls. I examined Aunty Kalei and Aunty Pahia's, ruefully commenting on the Elders' astute attention to anatomical detail.
The mana dolls were a huge success. Everyone became a child, and glue was everywhere, while seaweed skirts and hair were designed. And, Toho'ma was in her glory, she did twins. There was a slightly different atmosphere, but the play was joyfully efficient. I sat on the grass with Alan and Valera. Miracle was happy. A family had gathered beneath her in sincere appreciation for the renewal of Spring and wisdom shared. My spirits began to rise. Perhaps this answer to the call would transform the spiritual component into daily life once we all returned to "normal" routine.
My reality was restored. I presented the plan for the next morning to Toho'ma after we returned from dinner. I became almost euphoric as we looked at the pcitures she had taken during the two days of presentations. I found myself talking out loud to Mo'i and Nakia, telling stories of what would come. Fortunately, Toho'ma has 13 years experiencing my cross-dimensional communciations. How amazing life is becoming, and we are actually the first of the Sisters of Honua… Earth! I looked forward with even more celebration to our conversations over the upcoming few days, when the ceremony had been completed.
The family of Haviki was certainly grateful for the opportunity to share their Aloha and truth. My subsequent treasure returned again and again in valued kinship.
One thing of interest that mentors is noninterference. I had learned this traditional act of unconditional love early. Yes, unconditional means to allow a person their lessons without interference. I recalled the number of silent lessons I had received from Grandfather in my youth. They had, in fact, been the greatest moments in my claiming of personal power.
I prayed for the sister in lesson. "Moonstones belong to Pele," Mo'i said, a cryptic message from nowhere. "Ilyana's chants, sung to the momentous love for Pele, for Pahia. Lakota buffalo driven by a pickup truck… transcended across a rainbow bridge to hide."
Interspersed were visions that honored those gathering. All the Kahuna, blessing Leilani, then dancing their Hawk Dance to honor all the rest.
Suddenly the horn gifting, Pahia moaned, doubling as she walked and appeared to be shapeshifting into the buffalo as Aunty Kalei and Papa Reynolds held her. Pahia stopped, sat down, calling Toho'ma and I to sit beside her. Someone besides Aunty was speaking from inside of her.
"What's happening?" I heard someone in the circle whisper. "Is Pahia okay?"
"She is honored buffalo. She speaks from Calf Woman, a gift and honoring."
I looked around, not sure who was talking. Presently I was happy someone had the answer to give, looking back to Pahia. She was holding her lower lip much like our llamas do.
Later Pahia sat to the side with us as she came back into her body.
"There were three," Mo'i explained excitedly. "An old woman, a maiden and a warrior. The buffalo opened the South Gate for the second part of the transmigration assistance. You saw the rainbow hiding White Buffalo Calf Woman. Pahia is honored by the other side of her heritage… the Lakota."
The story of Crazy Horse's daughter, Rainbow Woman, filled my mind. I did not understand completely, but I did grasp the potential of our subsequential journey. And these are my family, I thought in amazement, that allow me to bring forth their esoteric intervention on humanity's behalf.
My interest and energy with the Sisters of Honua is heartfelt. We all have responsibility for the future of life, exquisite earth power and beauty. The extended family grows meticulously, and I document. This time, I serve the Kapuna… Living Ancestors… nohwizá'yé'ihi'dahi. Now we honor image floating!
These pleasant thoughts were on my mind as the giveaway continued. We had moved from the long house… carport… to back under Miracle on the grass, and all seemed well with the world.
the sun slowly set as the gift giving continued with little tokens of honoring, stories sharing self, and songs of inspriation. Did Talia sing "I to We?" How wonderful! Easter. It was, without a doubt, the best Easter of my life this time. My life is fulfilling! I love because I can, and because I love to.
The Initiations are drawing even closer, and things are making sense in my mind. I write to get as much as I can. Ten, maybe twelve days to assimilate this one. And we're just getting started. That's what appears to be consistent. Then what – Mother Pele – Changing Mother, the realization finally… chicken skins crawl across the skin and hair prickles.
Mother Pele, prophecy fulfills, we're living it! Kahuna, Native American, and worldwide earthways!
At almost the same instant, I heard the laughter from the girls next door, and we went to sit under the stars together again.
"Did you know?" Leilani asked. "What did you know?"
